The Atelier
Every Yazdan piece begins as a single line, drawn in Italy.
The drawing
Our collections are designed by a studio of master designers in Italy, heirs to a tradition of goldsmithing that spans centuries. A collection may take a year to draw: lines are simplified again and again until nothing can be removed.
The gold
Each design is cast, shaped and assembled in gold, then brushed and polished by hand. Some surfaces stay soft and satin, others are mirror-bright, so that light moves across a piece the way it moves across water or stone.
The stones
Diamonds and pearls are chosen one by one for each setting. In The One, a single brilliant-cut diamond carries the whole design; in Sea, every baroque pearl decides the shape of the gold around it.
The presentation
We have chosen not to sell online. A piece of jewellery deserves to be seen in person, in good light, with time to decide. Every purchase begins with a request and a private viewing.
